Patrik Elias (groin) is hopeful of playing Thursday against the Penguins.

Elias returned to the lineup last week from groin surgery in September, but skipped a the tail end of back-to-back games. He then played against Anaheim Wednesday. He said his groin didn't feel great after and will likely be a game-time decision Thursday since it is another game in back-to-backs.
