Brian Elliott pitched his first shutout of the year in the Senators 2-0 triumph over the Flyers Thursday night.

With Pascal Leclaire injured, Elliott will have plenty of opportunities to prove himself. Tonight's performance was long overdue. Perhaps he's up to the challenge.
