Gilbert Brule and the Edmonton Oilers have managed to avoid arbitration.

Brule has signed a two-year deal with the Oilers. The financial terms of his contract are not yet known, but there was some speculation that he could receive a contract worth more than $2 million per season in arbitration. Brule scored 17 goals and registered 20 assists in 65 games last season.
